My mum went down to Wellington last weekend to see Yayoi Kusama's exhibiton before it finished. I must say I was somewhat jealous of her little adventure. She left early Saturday morning and returned later that night. The trip was all the more colourful as the sevens was also on in Wellington that weekend. BUT what we like most when Mum travels (apart from stories and anedotes) is the thoughtful treats she brings back. These were mine...
A vintage necklace from Recycle Boutique, Postcards from the Yayoi Kusama exhibition and from
Swonderful a nut and bee stamp and (my favs) quirky pencils with phrases like "all signs point to yes" and "the outlook is doubtful".
This is a photo of Yayoi Kusama's work similar to that at the exhibition.
