Last weekend we visited the annual Between Tides exhibition on Westmere Beach. There were some very interesting installations on display including some glitter seaweed, a blue flax and bead sculpture hanging from a tree, giant flags made from plastic shopping bags, a giant sand jandal, a painted bed head, some picture frames on tripods and the list goes on. I loved the sound the flags made flapping in the wind.
Unfortunately this was one of those exhibitions without labels or explanations so I can't credit the artists. I think the idea was to seek out the artist and interact with them but most of the artists were seeking shade under the trees I think.
